Homegrown Alpaca & Angora Yarn
Locally-raised alpaca fibre is blended with German angora fibre to create this luxurious two-ply handspun yarn that is uniquely luxurious, with just enough down-home charm.
Hansel, my pet angora rabbit, is sheared by hand every three months, and his fibre is blended by hand with fibre from a local alpaca farm where I regularly participate in spring shearing. I create a woollen, lofty two-ply yarn by spinning the fibre on my pedal-driven wheel.
