Pecan Shell Thick & Thin Troelli Yarn

:: Handwash, lukewarm water, lay flat to dry.

The gentle, neutral tones of this yarn offset beautifully the thick & thin texture.

The making process:
I begin by dyeing New Zealand merino a soft pecan brown, and then spin it on my pedal-driven wheel. The finished yarn is washed in environmentally-friendly shampoo, and hung to dry in the fresh air.

The result is a yarn that is both soft and surprisingly durable, beautiful, with minimal environmental impact.
